ASSOCIATED WEAVERS GROUP		In 1964, it was founded first with the decision of opening a new department at Belgium of America Trend Mills Group. In 1969,Champion International,Trend Mills and English firm buy Associated Weavers and  began to weave figure tafted carpet at Ronse. In 1984, Associated Weavers International Group has founded after Champion International decided to withdraw from carpet industry.Today, group is among the most important carpet producers. In 1990,Prado has participatedto the company,Prado has an earlier background than the main company.In1909,it was founded under the name of “Tissage Van de Wiele”by Von de Wiele.Then the name changed and became “Vlaamse Tapijtweverij”(Flaman Carpet Weavers) and in  the end,its name became Prado,aftermath get the reference of well-known art museum at Madrid. In 1993,firstly the production mounted 50 million m². In 1997, Associated Weavers International is the first Belgian carpet producers which enters at stock  exchange. In 1998,factory has been founded at Liberec Czec Republic.This factory was used as the place of piece carpet and carpet. In 2001,it joined to the Balsan,to their constitution which is the France kontrat carpet producers,its position strengthened at market and it became leader of market. In 2005,the new addition  was opened,the wide product relieved  the market which is under Papilio name adding present Prada collection.
IDEAL		Ideal Group is a family company,and its founder is Francis De Clerck. Ideal Group, which Roger De Clerck divided the old Beaulieu groups among  the 6 children,has founded in 1991.But the members of De Clerck family decided to get together in the second half of 2005 and being founded had been announced to the markets. Among the groups are Stephen Colle (Beaulieu Kruisthouten),Dominiek De Clerck (Ter Lembeek International),Francis De Clerck (Ideal Group),Luc De Clerck (Berry Floor Group),and Roger De Clerck (Beaulieu Kunststoffen)
BEAULIEU OF AMERICA		Beaulieu of America which was founded in 1978 is the first floor emperor.It is the most important and third carpet producter in the all of the world. Manufacture,store and offices has been built on the area like 7.045.000 square Beaulieu of America has more production than 187.760.000 square yards in one year. The products of Beaulieu of America is controlled from commodity to over the production in every phase.Beaulieu produces plastic rosin and Polypropylene which is used at floor production and also at primary and secondary carpet floor.In this wise,every step of production is controlled. Today at various units of Beaulieu nearly 30 factory has been in function in North America,South America and Austrialia and also 7000 person has worked in this factories.

Mr. Filiep Balcaen takes over from his father Mr. Paul Balcaen 1991 Ideco moving to Industriepark Zuid in Tielt, start production of vinyl wall coverings. expansion of ITC in the old Ideco site 1992 new production site in Avelgem, face-to-face weaving, warehouse, yarn processing. ITC starts with batchdyed polyamide extrusion, expansion of cabling, heatsetting and airentangling capacities. 1993 foundation of C.C.B., Coordination Centre Balta.  ITC, start up of the second dyeing and printing line 1994 Ideco, expansion to 30.000m2, second vinyl production line ITC, second warehouse for 25.000 rolls of finished carpet Balta Far-East, sales office in Hong-Kong Balta Sint-Baafs-Vijve, second finishing line for broadloom carpets, extra capacity in tufting, warehouse and spinning Balta Weaving, expansion of the weaving capacity Avelgem, expansion of the finishing of rugs and extrusion, more capacity in cabling and heatsetting 1997 start up new devision IVC (International Vinyl Company) in Avelgem, production of vinyl floor coverings. 1999 acquisition of Grantil sa in Châlons en Champagne in France, production of wall coverings. Foundation of Balta Orient in USAK, Turkey.  Semi-worsted wool spinning mill. 2001 foundation of Trinterio, holding company of Balterio and Spanolux, a 50/50 joint venture with Triax, now Spanogroup.  Production of laminate floor coverings and MDF-HDF. 2002 foundation of Balta US, a distribution centre in Dalton, USA, for North America. Expansion of Balta Orient in Turkey. Legal integration, fusion of ITC nv and Ideco nv with Balta Industries nv to one juridical company Balta Industries nv. 2004 Balta Group sold to Doughty Hanson. IVC no longer part of the Group.  70% of the shares owned by DH, 10% the management, 20% Filiep Balcaen. 2007 expansion of the PP extrusion capacities in Sint-Baafs-Vijve new production site under the name Balta Floorcovering in Usak, Turkey.  Production of Acrylic area rugs.
BALSAN		Balsan which had been in service in 1886, set up first tafting machine in 1958 at France.It produced tafting carpets at the leadership of Louis Balsan.They founded modern factories in 1974 at Arthon. The Balsan firm has joined into the Associated Weavers Group on January in 2001.They have enforced their positions being added contract sectors such as hotels,shopping center,wide house plannings and individual consumer to the Europe carpet market leaderships (roll,diamond carpet).
BEAULIEU WIELSBEKE NV		The firm,which began its  activity with floor fabric production in 1959,then it passed into the oriental figure piece carpet sector.In 1967,they found Tafting technology.They began the production of PVC manufacture which produces fiber and bath setting in 2003. Beaufloor,which makes production according to standards at PVC sector,is the factory that firstly produce 5 meter PVC in the world. In the second half of 2005,they entered into the system of Beaulieu International Group.
SCHMIDT INTERNATIONAL		Schmidt International has been in the doormat market for 30 years. Schmidt which is in the doormat market have all the furnishing to produce self vinyl floor,rubber doormat patterns,special Fall Thru doormats and at the end to pres logos or to plan dorrmat. Schmidt had been founded as the subsidiary of Schmidt Inc.Of Charlotte in North Caroline.In that times,there had been cotton latex doormats like blanket in market and Schmidt had firstly realized the doormat production which is hard floor as it competes with standard products. After Mr.Don Schmidt who is the founder of Schmidt International died,Schmidt had retired from American main company.The centre of production is stil Dublin,Ireland.Europe founders and the owners are James Donnelly and his son Daragh Donnelly.
